Mental health challenges rarely fit into neat categories. Beyond the anxiety disorders, OCD, and PTSD I specialize in, I also work with adults navigating a range of other concerns — including depression, bipolar spectrum disorders, grief, life transitions, and relationship and interpersonal difficulties.

When Multiple Challenges Overlap

It’s common for people to experience more than one mental health challenge at the same time. Someone dealing with anxiety may also be struggling with depression. A person working through grief might find that unresolved trauma surfaces alongside it. These overlapping concerns aren’t the exception — they’re often the rule. Accounting for the full picture matters, because treating one issue in isolation can miss what’s actually keeping someone stuck.

How I Can Help

The first step in treatment involves assessing the full range of symptoms you might be experiencing to get an accurate diagnostic picture. I take an integrative approach grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy, drawing on a range of evidence-based interventions depending on what a client needs. Many of the skills and strategies used in CBT, ACT, and related approaches apply across multiple concerns — building psychological flexibility, learning to respond to difficult thoughts and emotions differently, practicing self-compassion, and making room for the things that matter most to you. Rather than a one-size-fits-all protocol, I tailor treatment to fit the unique needs of each of my clients.
