Therapy in the Des Moines Area
About
Meet Dr. Sievers
I’m a provisionally licensed psychologist who provides individual therapy to adults across Iowa. I work with clients who are struggling with a range of mental health challenges, and I have advanced training and experience in treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and anxiety disorders. I believe the foundation of effective therapy is a collaborative and trusting therapeutic relationship where clients’ goals are prioritized and their values and identities are respected and affirmed.
I practice at Willow Grove Therapy Group in Johnston, Iowa, and offer both in-person and telehealth sessions.

Conditions I Treat
I specialize in anxiety disorders, OCD, and PTSD, and also work with adults navigating depression, grief, life transitions, and more.
In-Person and Telehealth
I see clients in person at my office in Johnston, conveniently located for anyone in the Des Moines metro — including West Des Moines, Urbandale, Ankeny, Waukee, Clive, and surrounding communities. For those who prefer the flexibility of meeting from home, or who live elsewhere in Iowa, I offer telehealth sessions through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Research consistently shows that telehealth is as effective as in-person therapy for the conditions I treat.
Approach
Treatment Approaches
I use several evidence-based approaches depending on what fits best for each client.
